Its like, less than two weeks to go before our club - Anime Section of Art Club SMK Green Road , will be having our first anime festival. >.< kinchou naaa...(super nervous) well, its cause there's still many things not done yet T.T
Well, first of all, the plan to have an Anime Festival in this school of ours is well almost as hard as getting a meteor to land at our school field. Well, not THAT literally. With the our school principal away for sick leave, I was wondering if it's even possible to pull it out within three months. Yeah, the plans to have it only occurred last December and paperwork was only submitted and confirm by end of January. It was pretty rushed. Furthermore, our limited number of manpower makes it seems like it is almost not possible. The country's general election scare put us all in state of panic since there are rumors that the date may clash and we have to pull it off. Why? It's because we're using the school of course. XD The election will take place in schools.
Plans and manpower are one thing, budget is another. March was a rough month for me, it was awful. Things seems like its falling apart, money is not coming in as promised to. The sponsor retract their so called 'promised' fund twenty days before the event, three days before the exam week starts. It was awful. Really is. Starting to feel paranoid if I've done anything wrong to cause such destruction. But after coming so far, with all the paperwork, negotiations, meetings and all the other committed committee members, I cant ditch and run can't I? Although, there are just some that did that to me.
I hope this event will give a chance for the younger members to experience running an event that will surely benefit them in one way or another. Although there just problems around, if the club members can gain something out of it, I would go on. This is after all, my last chance of leaving a legacy and preparing the younger ones out to the front line before graduating from secondary school.
Well....away and gone with all those depressing stories. After all, its great that now the event have worked out fine and plans have been rolling OK. I hope, it'll go fine. Countdown 12 Days to Haru Matsuri.
