Although this is quite late~ i hope you all forgives us all for not telling clearly what we/this blog is about :3 gomen! >.<
This blog...as you all might or might not know~ is a place where Green Road Anime Section artworks rendezvouses (<---is this the right spelling/grammar? O.o)
First...who am i? haha~ I'm one of the admin of course ~ i call myself the ougonmajou -(sama)- though, u can choose to ignore the -sama- part~ i'm cool~ also~ i'm this club (grss anime section) san-daime/third president~
We are a club from Green Road Secondary School~ formed in 2010~ aye! two years ago! Fancy only having a blog now! XD We come from long (not quite long) ways. But two years is loong :D It's a struggle at first when the club is just formed back in 2010 being the first meeting ended up really badly...(i was there watching the old/ then current president screaming at us newbies! Yep! I was among those newbies) but it was a fun year~ watching this puny fragile club of ours grow steadily~ into something well....slightly stronger that it was before XDXD We had few exhibitions in our school hall~ hosted by our school Art Club (did i forgot to mention we are a branch under the Art Club? XDXD) This years exhibition was especially amusing to watch. We had this hunt for chops/stamps competition where students purchasing minimum one bookmark each will entitle to join the competition. They'll have to ask committee members working around the hall if they do carry one chops/stamps with them. Got a feeling that kids these days are scared of asking XD..
Our activity mostly centering around Art/visual art/ drawing. Nothing really fancy due to lack of equipment and funds. haha....we do have games once in a while, drawing lessons, anime quizes, gatherings....Our club meeting time is on Fridays 1230 pm to 1330pm at a classroom in our school.
I'll have to plan a gathering next year to get members to attend local anime convention or related events :3 else what this club is for? XD
This year~ being a great year for me before being promoted from a vice president~ had my last chance to watch previous presidents at their highest pinnacle before its my turn (it's quite scary thinking i'd have to be the one at the top, taking care of things for next year) Quite a relieve to know new members does digital art too~ since i'm horrible at it >.< (old generation is old)
New year resolutions? Haha~ i hope that next year~ this club will continue to grow strong with support of its members and future members~i hope it wont die out too :DD I also hope that next year we could have our very own event, filled purely with anime, comic and games ~ haha~
